Headway Illawarra is located within the City of Wollongong on the east coast of New South Wales, Australia, approximately one hour south of Sydney.

Headway was founded in 1987 by a group of concerned parents and health professionals to provide support services to people with Acquired Brain Injury [ABI].

We are a community-based, not-for-profit, non-government organisation. Membership of Headway is open to individuals, businesses, industry and other community groups and organisations.
